Pavel Makovec

Pavel Makovec is a graduate of the National Economics Faculty at the Economics University in Prague where he worked from 1978 to 1991 as an expert assistant in the field of general economic theory and macroeconomics. He has worked in the area of financial markets since 1991. Prior to his arrival to Arca Capital, he worked in specialist and managerial positions at Česká spořitelna,a.s., Epic Securities, a.s. and Czech Airlines. He has been a member of the statutory and supervisory bodies of a number of companies (Investiční společnost České spořitelny, a.s., Penzijní fond České spořitelny, a.s., Leasing České spořitelny, a.s., SEPAP, a.s. Štětí, KABLO-ELEKTRO, a.s. Vrchlabí, Vodní stavby Praha, a.s., MERO ČR, a.s. and LACHEMA Brno, a.s.). He contributed to the renewal of the activities of the Prague Stock Exchange.
